- Warez are stolen or pirated copies of commercial computer programs, oten with cracked or stolen passwords or access keys. You can get almost all retail commercial software from people distributing warez for free, and in many countries you can go to prison for having it, even if you don't use or distribute it. People using stolen software are thieves, and fines and prison sentences apply in many countries, so don't do it.
