user mode
user mode
user mode
A
user mode
, much like a
channel mode
, serves the purpose of giving users a single letter flag depending on the options they have chosen on an
IRC server
. A usermode can be set by doing '/mode
+/-
'. An example would be, if a user wanted to set themselves into invisible mode, the command would me '/mode user +i', where user is the nickname of the user doing the request and where +i represents the fact that the user wishes to set themselves as "invisible".
