- Link Looking
- A bot that runs the /LINKS command repeatedly in order to detect a split server is said to be Link Looking; the idea is that you'd then connect to the split server and get ops in channels, so tha twhen the server reconnects after the netsplit, you'd be able to do a channel takeover.
