- DALnet was formed by Dalvenjah, hence the name, to be a friendlier network than EFnet; it is probably the best of the three main large networks for adults wanting to chat without having to deal with attacks, channel takeovers, nickname stealers and other preteen IRC Warrior setbacks. DALnet is large and busy, and often suffer from netsplits, which is one reason why people often move to a smalller network like SorceryNet.
