- ChanServ
- ChanServ is a service provided by some IRC networks (including SorceryNet) that lets you register a channel. Once you have done that, ChanServ will keep a list of people who are allowed to be operators in that cvhannel. set modes and the channel topic, and help protect you from channel takeovers. See NickServ before using ChanServ.
